CNO Software Engineer

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented CNO Software Engineer to join our team in the Hanover, Maryland location. Provides specialized development, testing and evaluation capabilities tailored to system functions.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Develop and code in Python, Java and XML, ensuring software standards are metPerform system and subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, and subsystem and system integration and tests for a systemResearch requirements for a product, including CNO deployment environment, performance criteria, and competitive issuesDesign for new capabilities or recommendations for improvements to existing capabilitiesDetermining computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programmingDebug and troubleshoot software, modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new requirements, or to improve performance and perform quality control on team productsCoordinating and performing software deployments for developed productsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 7+ years of programming experience or High School Diploma and 11+ years of programming experienceExperience developing and coding in Python and JavaExperience with build environments such as Gradle or MavenExperience with Object Oriented Analysis and DesignKnowledge of Software Version ControlKnowledge of CNO environmentKnowledge of Agile software development methodologyKnowledge of XML or XSLTPreferred Qualifications:Experience with SQL and NoSQL databasesSubversion/GIT experienceAtlassian Tools (Confluence, Jira, Bamboo, Crucible)Security Clearance Requirements:Must have an active/current TS/SCI with PolygraphPhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
