Stormwater Inspector

Stormwater Maintenance, LLC (SMC) is a stable and growing regional environmental restoration construction and maintenance company seeking enthusiastic entry level or experienced inspectors to perform post-construction inspections of stormwater facilities for municipalities and property managers/owners throughout the Baltimore/Washington corridor.  Initially, the position will involve training that will involve active field work including visual inspection, documentation, and office work on reporting the condition of existing stormwater management and drainage systems.  This position has long-term career growth and unlimited potential.Minimum requirements for the position are as follows: An active drivers license and relatively clean driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier Good communication skills (friendly, outgoing, courteous, etc) Capability to work in both office and field environments No fear of heights or confined spaces Basic computer skills Able to read site plans Detail orientedAble to lift 75 poundsWhile not required, ideal candidates will have had exposure to, or experience in, one of the following:Reading of site plans and related drawingsDrainage and/or stormwater management designConstruction implementation and/or estimatingConstruction inspection or geotechnical testingPost-construction stormwater and BMP inspectionCCTV pipeline inspectionTopographic/Boundary/ALTA surveysAutoCAD/Civil 3D/CarlsonThis is an entry level position that is a long-term career opportunity.  Increased responsibilities and accelerated career paths are available for those with experience in this role.
