Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical maintenance within the dairy and food production industry, ensuring all machinery is running efficiently and safely.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment such as boilers, chillers, palletizers, and case packers.Diagnose and repair mechanical failures in production equipment including dryers, evaporators, separators, valves, and pumps.Conduct regular inspections and troubleshoot issues to prevent equipment breakdowns.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.Collaborate with production staff to ensure minimal downtime during maintenance operations.Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in mechanical maintenance is preferred.Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing setting, preferably in the dairy, food, or beverage industries.Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as electrical systems related to manufacturing equipment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.BenefitsEmployer 401K contribution of up to 9%Comprehensive medical, dental & and vision benefitsEmployer-paid life & and disability coveragePaid time off and paid holidays8 weeks of paid parental leaveEducation assistanceEmployee assistance programFlexible working arrangementCommunity giving through matching donationsThis role is eligible for relocation assistanceEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
