Electrical Wiring ManagerLocation: High Point, NC | Full-Time | On-siteWe’re looking for an experienced Electrical Wiring Manager to lead a team of skilled technicians in the production of high-quality wiring, enclosures, and cable assemblies for mission-critical applications across defense, research, and aerospace sectors. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a deep understanding of electrical assembly processes, quality standards, and team development in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage Wiring Technicians; promote accountability, technical growth, and a culture of quality and continuous improvement.Project Oversight: Plan, prioritize, and track production schedules and labor allocation to ensure on-time delivery of custom wiring projects.Training & Development: Provide hands-on training and performance coaching; ensure all technicians meet internal standards and follow industry best practices.Quality Assurance: Enforce adherence to IPC-620, J-STD-001, and other industry standards. Perform regular inspections to ensure high reliability and compliance.Production Management: Oversee the assembly of electrical panels, enclosures, wire harnesses, and custom cable builds with precise routing, labeling, and termination.Cost Estimation: Prepare and review quotes for custom cable and wiring assemblies; ensure competitiveness and accuracy in pricing.Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with internal safety protocols and regulatory standards.What You BringExperience: 3–5+ years of hands-on wiring, soldering, or assembly experience in a high-spec industry (defense, aerospace, R&D, etc.)Leadership: Prior experience managing or supervising a production team, with a proven ability to delegate, resolve issues, and drive team performanceTechnical Proficiency:Strong ability to read/interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentationFamiliarity with wiring tools (multimeters, crimpers, wire strippers, etc.)IPC or J-STD certifications strongly preferredAttention to Detail: Commitment to precision and quality, even under tight deadlinesCommunication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; capable of clearly conveying technical informationProblem Solving: Proactive approach to troubleshooting production or design issuesWhy Join UsContribute to complex, high-impact projects in defense, research, and aerospaceBe part of a collaborative and innovative team that values precision and technical excellenceGrow your leadership skills in a stable and forward-thinking work environmentOvertime opportunities available when needed to meet project deadlinesReady to Lead with Precision?If you’re a motivated team leader with a passion for quality, craftsmanship, and complex electrical builds apply now!
