Position Overview: We are seeking a part-time, detail-oriented and motivated Patient Financial Services Intern to join our finance team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in accounts payable processes and financial operations within a dynamic business environment. This position offers flexible scheduling and requires a commitment of 20-24 hours per week. Our vision is to be our community's first choice for delivering healthcare excellence. Key Responsibilities:Assist with processing health insurance claims in a timely and accurate manner. Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve discrepancies. Support the cash posting staff with posting responsibilities as well as billing follow-up to support billing staff. Help maintain accurate records of financial transactions and assist with filing. Participate in preparing reports and providing necessary data to staff. Qualifications:Currently pursuing or recently completed an associate degree or certificate in billing or coding. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
