Senior Estimator (Commercial Construction)

Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team in the commercial construction sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the estimation process for various projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in bids. Our special projects division focuses their expertise on faster pace projects that range between $1M-$20M. This includes ground up, renovation and tenant improvement construction. We specialize in diverse sectors that include Office, Retail, Industrial and Institutional (private education, faith based, end user headquarters/campuses.)Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects.Review and analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential issues and cost-saving opportunities.Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of costs for materials, labor, and equipment.Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations for clients.Provide support during the negotiation process by clarifying estimates and addressing client concerns.Mentor junior estimators and provide guidance on best practices and methodologies.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in estimating within the commercial construction industry.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and codes.Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.Ability to prepare complex proposals with minimal supervision.Thorough knowledge of estimating techniques, engineering disciplines and sub-trade required.Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
