Description Leidos has a current job opportunity for a Defensive Cyber Operations Site Lead/Manager on the DISA GSM-O II program supporting the DISA Joint Operations Center (DJOC) embedded with DISA Headquarters, Fort Meade, MD. The candidate will support the DISA GSM-O II TN13 Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) Branch. This position will provide leadership for defensive cyber operations activities and will be expected to actively engage with a variety of customers and mission partners, anticipating their needs, and delivering flawlessly. Primary ResponsibilitiesServe as a leader for a team of 30+ personnel consisting of Leidos and subcontractor partners across multiple DCO function areas to include, but not limited to, Internal Countermeasures, Boundary, Fusion, Transformation, and Cyber Planning.Manage/coordinate training activities, DoD 8570.01 compliance tracking, and tracking continuous service improvement activitiesLead the staffing efforts for the DCO portion of the program, working with teammates and Leidos to achieve successServe as an active member in the career growth of subordinates through periodic career discussions and annual performance assessmentsSupporting execution within budget and meeting technical targets on scheduleCoordinates with the DJOC J34 (Customer), understands the Customer's technical and mission intent and operationalizing technical solutions that enact their intentCoordinates with PMO support for the program, ensuring smooth contract operationsSupports delivery of CDRLsWorks with contract technical leadership to direct work effort of contractor teamCoordinates across technical and organizational boundariesEffectively communicates across the team, across functional organizations and sponsor groupsProactively identifies and mitigates risks, identifies and capitalizes on opportunitiesSupports business development and implementation of Leidos policies and proceduresEstablishes and maintains an inclusive work environment consistent with Leidos values and ethics Serve as a people leader for personnel supporting the DCO desk:Conduct annual performance assessments to include periodic check ins.Validate/approve time charging for both Leidos and vendor personnel.Provide coaching/mentoring to personnel.Develop and Execute Continual Service Improvement technical strategies to modify and enhance operational processes and impact strategic project/program goals and business results.Basic Qualifications:BS/BA degree with 8+ years of prior relevant experienceMust have an active Top Secret/SCI clearanceMust meet DoD 8570.01 certification requirements for IAM Level I prior to start date with ability to obtain CND-A certification within 180 days of starting assignmentDemonstrated experience supporting and leading computer network defense (CND), cyber security or similar/related teams in an information technology environmentExperience working with DoD / Government / Commercial Customer LeadersStrong technical leadership skills and clearly convey complex technical conceptsDemonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) for in-depth reporting and presentations to senior Government and Military leadershipDisplay flexibility and agility in a responding to business needs pertaining to staffing and workforce planning needs as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsIAM Level II certification (e.g. CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP, etc.)ITIL v3 Foundation or v4 certifiedBA/BS degree in Information Technology or Information Security, Computer Science, Intelligence Analysis, Cyber Security, or another related field of study or equivalent experience in Cyber Intelligence AnalysisCND experience (Protect, Detect, Respond and Sustain) within a Computer Incident Response organization.Demonstrated understanding of the life cycle of network threats, attacks, attack vectors and methods of exploitation with an understanding of intrusion set tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs)Self-starter with the ability to engage with cyber intelligence analyst counterparts across the US Intelligence and cyber communitiesOriginal Posting:June 17, 2025For U.S. Positions: While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
