In this in-person role, you will support building events, preparing collaborative spaces, conference rooms and workspaces, handling Shipping & Receiving, Mail pick up and or delivery to the post office in Belfast with our company box truck, supporting catering, and other tasks that evolve in our new hybrid work environment. You will report directly to the Service Manager, athenaEnvironment.The shift is Monday-Friday 5:15am-1:45pm in our Belfast, ME office.Team Summary: You will be part of athenaEnvironment - an interdisciplinary team of facilities, security, workplace experience, and real estate experts. The team is dedicated to supporting the day-to-day operations of our campus in Belfast, ME and managing aspects of our global footprint. By ensuring efficient workspace operations and superior customer engagement, the team contributes to creating a productive and vibrant environment for all employees.Essential Job Responsibilities:Drive the company box truck for mail pick-up and delivery as required.Prepare conference and event rooms each day for seamless operations.Provide logistical support for company events and activities.Process and deliver large volumes of incoming and outgoing mail.Maintain and operate office equipment, ensuring adequate supplies are available.Execute general office maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting, and cleaning.Additional Job Responsibilities:Assist in setting up workstations for new employees.Support asset management for office equipment and furniture.Contribute to event setups utilizing company vehicles.Help implement building security and safety plans.Expected Education & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent is required.Valid Driver's License and a safe driving history are required.Minimum of 1+ years of experience in facilities operations or a related role.Understanding of general office maintenance practices (e.g., painting, cleaning) is necessary.Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.Basic knowledge of Microsoft computer applications.About athenahealthOur vision: In an industry that becomes more complex by the day, we stand for simplicity.
