$4 / hour plus tips  Earning potential of up to $25+/hour averagePredictable schedules and most restaurants close by 9PMOn-Demand Pay through Fuego (get up to 50% of your earned wages ahead of payday)Extra pay for holidays worked90% paid medical and vision premiums100% paid life insurance and vision premiumsCareer development and opportunities for advancement We are currently hiring for Bartenders to work at Harry & Izzys located inside the Indianapolis International Airport. At SSP America, our Servers are one of our most important customer service roles.  Here are a few things you can expect when you join our team as a Server: Answer questions and offer suggestions regarding food, beverages, and services of the facilityAccurately input orders into the POS systemPrepare dishes for service, to include ladling soup, tossing salads, cutting portions of pie and desserts, and brewing coffeeObserve guests to anticipate their needs and respond to any additional requestsClear all dishes away from tableBalance and reconcile all assigned open and closed checks by totaling bills and accepting paymentsClear and reset all counters or tables at the conclusion of each courseOther duties as assigned The ideal candidate for this position has: 1 Year Experience in Restaurant BartendingHigh school diploma preferredVerbal and written communicationAbility to read, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and take ordersExperience in dealing with problems involving customer serviceBasic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, etc.Food handlers permit, as required by lawBrand certification, as requiredAbility to remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu itemsAbility to operate a keyboard & point of sale procedures to pre-check an order & close out a checkAbility to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of timeDiversity and Inclusion is a priority at SSP.
