Painter

What this job involves: We are seeking a skilled Painter for our Dublin location to repair, protect, and beautify various interior and exterior surfaces within our client's healthcare facility. This position requires technical expertise in painting and minor carpentry, with the ability to adapt methods as needed for different surfaces. This is a part-time role (20-25 hours weekly) offering competitive salary based on experience. What your day-to-day will look like: Apply various painting and wall covering techniques to complete projectsRemove and replace furniture, equipment, shelving, and fixtures as needed for work areasInstall and repair drywall and plaster, including applying corner beads, taping, patching, and sandingPrepare surfaces by stripping, washing, and priming before paintingInspect damaged surfaces (plaster, drywall, water damage, cracks) throughout the campusUse tools and equipment safely while maintaining a secure work environmentPerform additional duties as assigned, aligned with client hoursWork Schedule: Part-time position, 20-25 hours per weekWeekday shifts (3): 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (8-hour shifts) on Thursday, Friday, and MondayWeekend shifts (2): 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM (10-hour shifts) on Saturday and SundayPhysical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periodsRegularly lift/carry up to 10 pounds; frequently up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 poundsPerform overhead work while standing on laddersNavigate confined spaces (closets, crawl spaces, attics)Bend, kneel, twist, and reach in difficult access areas Preferred Experience and Technical Skills: Tile installation experienceFurniture finishing capabilitiesFraming knowledgeGeneral maintenance experience Required Experience and Technical Skills: Experience with interior and exterior paintingProficiency in hanging wall coveringsAbility to hang and finish drywall and plasterSkills in project estimation and materials orderingValid driver's license·       Basic computer skills·       Carpentry background#MMjobs
