This position will be full-time and on-site in Brooklyn Park MN.What You'll DoPerform general facilities maintenance duties including painting, light carpentry, electrical, and/or plumbing work, upkeep of office machines, metal fabrication, and moving of machinery and/or office furniture and equipment.Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment issues to minimize production downtime and process waste, requiring knowledge of systems to run sophisticated plant machineryCompletes all work orders, preventive maintenance sheets, and repair logs and related documents to reflect work performedProvide technical support and training to maintenance and engineering department staffProvide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment issues.What You'll NeedRequired:High School Diploma or GEDProven experience in facility maintenanceHigh degree of initiative and resourcefulness to resolve issues and complete complex tasksBe able to deliver new solutions to complex problems/issuesPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationery most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorThe pay for this position is $33.21 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will include medical coverage as well as 401k retirement account access.
