Role Overview: Success starts with collaboration and dedication—join our team-based culture and grow with us. Sodexo's Campus Segment is seeking a skilled Executive Chef 2 to lead culinary operations at the University at Albany in Albany, NY. This position plays a key leadership role in overseeing food production, cost control, and team development across two busy dining operations serving over 2,000 meals daily. Located on the University at Albany campus, the Executive Chef 2 will manage day-to-day culinary operations with a strong focus on ordering, inventory management, food costing, and ensuring compliance with Sodexo’s quality and safety standards. This role will also collaborate closely with the Campus Executive Chef to elevate training, culinary execution, and staff development across the team. What You'll Do: Lead food production across two high-volume dining operations, serving 2,000+ meals dailyOversee ordering, inventory, and cost controls to meet financial goalsPartner with the Campus Chef to enhance staff training and culinary expertiseEnsure the delivery of high-quality, on-trend food with a focus on consistency and innovationSupport menu planning, recipe development, and production systemsBuild and maintain strong client and customer relationshipsFoster a positive, inclusive team environment and uphold Sodexo’s culinary and safety standards What We Offer: Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
