Chef Manager - Bakery/Pastry

Role Overview: Sodexo Live! has an exciting opportunity for a Chef Manager who will support a large commissary kitchen operation that delivers thousands of ready-to-eat meals to our local clients. Working in the metro Atlanta area with our commissary team, this Chef Manager will oversee the production of baked goods/pastries and other food items packed for delivery and distribution.  We are seeking candidates with prior culinary supervisory skills and hands-on food production experience to join our team.   Venues and events don’t just bring people together, they create exceptional moments and lasting memories. What You'll Do: work a 1pm - 9pm shift;be responsible for menu compliance, baking/cooking, food production, food quality/presentation, safety/sanitation;ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standards (HACCP); and/orhave working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems (Excel Spreadsheets);direct the activities of 10-15 associates;oversee administrative duties including: employee schedules, hours and payroll.
