Cost Accountant

Clean Harbors is seeking a Cost Accountant to be responsible for reviewing, reconciling, and maintaining a variety of accounting and financial data and information, including assisting with financial closings, preparing a variety of reports and records of assets and liabilities, and other financial transactions, balancing books periodically. Supporting manufacturing and Recycling segments; building cost of finished goods.Responsible for preparing supporting documentation needed for management, internal and external auditors, and any other requirement pertaining to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX).Answers questions from external auditors and provide support as needed.Identify potential control deficiencies, procedural changes that have occurred or may occur which may require update to SOX documentation, and suggesting improvements to the financial control environment.QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Related field3+ years of experience in a General accounting roleBasic accounting knowledge and/or understanding of cost accounting principles.
