JOB DESCRIPTION The Senior Manager, Fuel & Facilities is a strategic leadership role responsible for the oversight, maintenance, and performance optimization of all fuel farm infrastructure and facilities at the FBO. This position will lead and support fuel facility initiatives, R&M Facility initiatives, capital projects, and long-term strategy development for the Fuel Facilities & facility infrastructure. This includes managing preventiative maintenance and driving long-term asset reliability and operational excellence. This role oversees the planning, design, permitting, construction, and compliance of aviation fuel facility projects while ensuring adherence to company standards, industry regulations, and environmental safeguards. The Senior Manger will provide leadership and oversight to a team specializing in fuel facility & Facility R&M capital projects, collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and drive efficient project execution. RESPONSIBILITIES Fuel Facilities Management Lead and manage a team supporting fuel facility projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards. Oversight on fuel farm capital projects, including budgeting, scheduling, scope management, and risk assessment. Serve as the primary liaison between General Managers, Area Directors, and Regional Vice Presidents regarding project requirements, updates, and execution. Manage relationship with vendors, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution. Provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders on project milestones, challenges, and budget impacts Budget oversight and management on Fuel Farm Builds Develop and implement emergency response plans for fuel farms and facilities Lead the scoping, implementation, and adoption of digital tools including Telemetry monitoring solutions to enhance fuel system reliability and data tracking Facilitate collaboration among architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and corporate teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. Ensure operational guidelines align with national, local, and company codes, standards, and environmental regulations. Analyze Request for Proposal (RFP) bid comparisons and support procurement decisions. Lead project status meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment with objectives. Review, coordinate, and provide feedback on design plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Facilities Repair & Maintenance (R&M) Oversight of facility R&M projects across terminals, hangars, parking areas, ramps, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, and utility systems at our FBO's. Lead and manage a team supporting R&M projects at the FBO Creates and implements a preventative maintenance program to ensure alignment with operational priorities, asset life cycle management. Manage annual R&M budgets, forecast lifecycle replacement and major upgrades Develop risk profiles using R&M scorecards and capital planning tools Prioritize maintenance projects based on operational criticality, safety impact, and cost-benefit analysis Cross functional collaboration including partnering with Finance, Procurement, Safety, Legal teams and Insurance partners to ensure alignment on investment decisions, compliance, and risk mitigation Develop and maintain strategic vendor relationships to support business objectives. Evaluate vendor performance and ensure SLA compliance; Serve as escalation point to FBO's for maintenance and repair initiatives Implement preventative maintenance programs QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Mgmt,, Aviation, Facilities Mgmt., or a related field 7-10 years of experience in aviation operations, fuel facility management, facility R&M mgmt.and capital project oversight. Knowledge of fuel farm instractructure or FBO/Airport Facility R&M management Facility risk assessment & lifecycle asset planning experience Additional knowledge and skills: Rapid problem-solving skills: ability to quickly prioritize.
