What You'll Be DoingLoad and unload cargo from vessels and trucks.Operate forklifts and other terminal equipment.Inspect and maintain equipment for safety and functionality.Manage inventory and ensure accurate record-keeping.Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation. What Are We Looking ForStrong attention to detail and safety.Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment as well as hand/power tools.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Physical capability to handle the demands of the job including lifting heavy objects and comfortability with heights.Flexibility to work in various weather conditions. Conditions of EmploymentSuccessful candidate must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. Work EnvironmentRole operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.Hours: 6a - 3:30pm but occasional overtime and on-call to meet business needs.
