Job Description:The Food Service Manager (FSM) is responsible for managing all aspects of the food service and beverage operation. By utilizing the food service team, this manager is responsible for the efficient execution of all fresh food/ food service programs in compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines and supporting the General Manager in all facets of running the store. The FSM is responsible for training the Food Service Associates in the store. The FSM is responsible for maintaining a safe, sanitary and appetizing food service environment. The FSM ensures exceptional customer experience. If you’re motivated by what’s next, Global Partners can provide you the opportunities to push your career to the next level.Overseeing the complete kitchen operation from open to close:Maintain a clean and organized kitchen including workstation, ovens, walk in/freezer, and dry storageShipping and receiving of all productsTake inventory and maintain the inventoryPlace product orders; both phone and electronic ordering systemMaintain strict sanitation standards for you and your team, adhering to both city and state regulations; keep ServSafe certification up to dateUnderstand and enforce sanitation and allergen protocolsHire, train and take part in one-on-one coaching for your team with the support of the General Manager and assist with staff reviews.Cooking and bakingVendor relationsAccounting, billing and invoicingBudget managementMenu development and special selectionKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:High School Diploma or equivalentA minimum of 3 years of professional kitchen management experienceEager to learnOpen to feedback and committed to continuous improvementHave a passion for great food and hospitalityExperienced in coaching, training, and developing othersAbility to work unsupervisedPossess strong computer skillsMust be available via phone after regular business house, weekends and holidaysFlexibility to work weekend, holiday and/or evening shifts and assist other locations as neededMust have reliable transportation and valid driver’s licenseAbility to communicate effectively with associates and guestsAbility to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperworkAbility to operate and use all equipment necessary to operate the storeAbility to work in a fast aced environmentWork in intermittent temperatures (i.e. cooler, outside, etc.,)Attention to detailStrong decision-making skillsStrong financial management skillsPhysical Requirements:Frequent bending, reaching, lifting of 1 to 15 lbsBe able to lift up to 50lbs on occasionReaching above shoulder height and bending below waistBe able to freely access all areas of the storeMove quickly around storeThe salary for this position is expected to range between $48,000 and $52,000 per year.  The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining the Company will be reviewed periodically.
