General Maintenance Technician

Develop your engineering career at JLL! The General Maintenance Technician supports operation, inspection and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire life safety building equipment and systems. You will work with a Facilities Management & Engineering team of 39 at a clients corporate campus managed by JLL.Location: Corvallis, OR 97330Schedule: On-site, Day shift M-F, with a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergenciesReporting to: Assistant Chief EngineerJob Overview:We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to join our JLL team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the property's physical condition, responding to customer maintenance requests, and ensuring our site remains safe and well-maintained.Responsibilities:Respond promptly to customer maintenance requests and complete repairs efficientlyPerform preventative maintenance throughout the propertyHandle plumbing repairs including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and toilet repairsComplete basic electrical repairs such as replacing light fixturesMaintain HVAC systems including filter changes, basic troubleshooting, and coordinating with specialized contractors when neededMake drywall repairs, patch holes, and paint interior spacesPerform appliance diagnostics and repairsMaintain common areas, including landscaping oversight and cleaningAdhere to all safety protocols and building codesMaintain inventory of supplies and toolsParticipate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance issuesQualifications:2+ years of experience in property maintenance or related fieldWorking knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairAbility to use hand and power tools safely and effectivelyValid driver's license and reliable transportationStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailExcellent customer service skills and professional demeanorAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate stairs throughout the dayEPA certification preferred but not requiredHVAC certification a plusPlease submit your application with an updated resume, location, and contact information.If you're a current JLL employee, please apply using the Internal Career Site.
