Job Description

Location (Kinston, NC)The Facilities Coordinator role will be responsible for facility coordination ensuring compliance to established business processes related to Corporate Real Estate and Facilities, assisting the Facility Manager and the Head of Corporate Real Estate with the delivery of quality facility management services for Kinston, NC​Facility SupportSchedule preventative maintenance with contracted vendors monthly/quarterly.Managing soft services onsite such as waste management, janitorial services, pest control and workspace management.Respond to emergency and urgent maintenance service callsEscort and supervise suppliers while working on-site.Assist with furniture delivery, disposal and maintain organized storage spacesAssist with set-up and break-down of corporate eventsPerform small maintenance tasks such a hanging photos and art work, moving furniture, or repairing/modifying furniturePerform daily facilities walk-through of Kinston FacilityConduct monthly safety walk-through of Kinston, NC FacilityAssist with administrative projectsOther duties as assigned Relationship and Facility Management CoordinationSustainabilityAssist monitoring of sustainability projects and activities with Program Manager to ensure they are handled in accordance with Airbus Group standards, all local, state and federal laws and regulationsCollect and track key data related to sustainability Review Environmental Roadmaps with site FM leads (Quarterly)Record monthly environmental data to applicable reporting systemsOtherAll other duties as directed by Director of Real Estate & Facilities, HO Health & Safety and site leadershipMINIMUM REQUIRED / PREFERREDEducation/trainingHigh School GraduateBachelor’s degree or combination of education and experienceYears of relevant experienceMinimum of 1 year industry experience required either in the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultant2+ years of industry experience either in the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultantExperience in the aerospace and or defense industry is a plus.Skills and knowledgeStrong ability to listen and communicate effectively (verbal and written)Outstanding organizational and time management skillsStrong interpersonal skillsProficient using common business applications (Google G-Suite, Corrigo CMMS)Outstanding Internal and External customer service skillsMust be comfortable working with complex audiovisual equipmentOther abilitiesDemonstrated client relationship management skillsDecision Making, Complexity:Prioritize use of the facility based on business needs.Real time determination of facility use based on existing conditions of specific facility components.Certifications/licensesN/APhysical work requirements and work conditionsOffice environment.  Some walking.  Some lifting (Corrigo (Work Order Management Tool)Monitor compliance usage for facilities teams’ preventative and recurring maintenance schedules.Surveillance of tool and provide improvement feedback to ManagerCollect and report data points to leadershipAssist with deployment of communications, trainings, documentation, tools, governanceOther duties as assigned
