Production Associate – 2nd Shift This role is not open for submissions from outside staffing agencies Location: 2190 Urbana Pike Ijamsville, MD 21754-8601   What Brought You Here Pay range $17-$19 per hour Quarterly bonus opportunity 2nd Shift, Monday – Friday, 4pm - 12:30am plus OT as needed Shift differential $1 per hour Who You Are: A highly motivated individual who takes pride in their work, wants to perform their role in a timely and efficient manner while producing good quality product, and wants to grow in their knowledge and experience while helping the organization to be successful.   What You Will Be Doing: Work in safe and professional manner while handling flat glass products. Must have the ability to work cooperatively within a team environment Move glass from, tables, furnace, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily Transport of materials including glass from one position/location to another in an effort to expedite the production process Inspect product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues (fabrication issues, logo placement, etc.) Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of clutter Work as a TEAM to share knowledge, new ideas, and train other TEAM members so we can provide top quality products for our customers and meet industry standards. Able to solve practical problems with good judgement and reasoning. Skills You Bring: Must be at least 18 years old. Knowledge of and ability to follow all health, safety, quality, and labor standards applying to your area of responsibility. Must be able to stand, twist, bend, and stoop for long periods of time. Able to read a tape measure and match the correct label with the correct lite of glass. Must be able to lift 75 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to work in a noisy environment. Must be able to work in hot or cold temperatures. Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, stand, sit, lift, push, and pull repetitively and/or throughout the duration of the shift. Steel toe boots required (not company provided).
