The Senior Accountant will be primarily responsible for accounting related to equity, acquisitions and special projects as designated by the Director of Financial Reporting. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain equity roll forward schedules for a high volume of minority interest owners and prepare related journal entriesEnsure capitalization table accurately reflects current entity ownershipWork with the legal department on ownership changes and related entity valuationsResponsible for allocation of net income to minority owners through a complex ownership structureAccount for monthly transactions and interest accruals on related-party and intercompany debtPrepare equity, investments, and related-party account reconciliationsCalculate and coordinate payment of minority interest owners’ monthly/quarterly cash distributionsTrack acquisition related holdback payments, facilitating approval and paymentWork closely with operational accounting to explain changes in account balances and provide supporting documentationAssist in the preparation of financial statement audit materials, including the consolidated statement of stockholders’ equity Qualifications: Competencies Experience in using ERP systemsAdvanced Excel skillsDemonstrated knowledge of GAAPThrives in a fast-paced, high-volume, constantly changing environmentAbility to recognize when priorities need to shiftAbility to meet a constant stream of deadlines in a fast-paced environmentEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance requiredMinimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting or related fieldExperience with NetSuite and/or similar product preferred#CH300
