We want you to apply!Job Summary and QualificationsUnder the general supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer, and the physician chairperson of the Infection Control function, the Infection Control Nurse establishes and implements guidelines directed toward the prevention, detection, and control of infectious processes and collaborates with the Employee Health Nurse for implementation of the Employee Health Program.   What qualifications you will need:Bachelor of Science in related fieldCurrent licensure in Texas as a Registered NurseCertification as Infection Control Practitioner prefer-red; documentation of educational programs related to:1. Epidemiologic principles and infectious diseases.2. Sterilization, sanitation, and disinfection practices.3. Adult education principles.4. Patient care practice.5.
