Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Tech Lead to join their team. As a Tech Lead, you will be part of the technology department supporting various squads within the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Tech Lead Location: Hybrid (Candidates must be within a 35-mile footprint of Albany NY, Buffalo, NY, Columbus, OH, or Cleveland, OH) Pay Range: Best in the Segment on W2 What's the Job? Develop architecture diagrams, detailed design diagrams, and interfaces while collaborating with all dependent technical teams for discretionary initiatives. Coach and guide squad leads to implement better coding practices and enhance overall software quality. Provide architectural guidance for squads under Banker experience to ensure compliance with enterprise standards. Offer direction and recommendations on solutions for security vulnerabilities and support squad leads in security variance discussions. Proactively recommend better tools and develop practices for the engineering and support teammates to foster a culture of modern software development. What's Needed? At least 10 years of software development experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the banking or finance industry. Experience troubleshooting and debugging with a solid understanding of core development principles. Familiarity with API or RESTFUL and SOAP services, as well as database experience (SQL, Oracle). Background in data integrations, including ETL processes, and understanding of SAML/SSO capabilities, preferably OKTA. What's in it for me?
