Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • 24 months of Telemetry Float Pool experience is required with some in the last 24 months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Depending on skill level, nurses will float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, as well as all Tele units, MedSurg, any & every holding area (this could be in the Cath Lab, ER, observation floor, even a hallway) They staff the observation floor 1st, then the other units. Floating would include between Chandler & Mercy Gilbert campuses. Notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start. Floating to different units mid-shift can happen. Rare to float to another campus within a single shift, but possible. The distance between the 2 campuses is 9 miles. Depending on traffic takes 15 minutes. All interstate. Must work 2 of 3 major holidays Must be able to titrate cardiac drips Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to signing contract (2 max attempts), within 48 hours of offer. Tele B3A - Unit: CV Tele B3A - Certs: BLS, ACLS - Ratios: 1:3-4 - Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment. Also have a Clinical Supervisor in a management role. - Techs: PCTs - 1 per every 16 patients. - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. - Scrub Color: Navy - Tele: Centralized tele. Tele Neuro - Unit: A3 Neuro - Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - Ratios: 1:3-4 - Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment. Also has Unit Supervisor. - Nurse Aides: PCTs on days. 1 PCT or Task RN at night. - Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week period (days - Sat, Sun, nights - Fri, Sat).
