Punch/Turret Press Operator

U.S Citizenship Required. Pay Rate: $21/hr. We are looking for an experience Punch/Turret Press Operator to work in the maritime manufacturing environment. In this position, you will be responsible for the set up, operation, and maintenance of CNC turret punch press machines used to shape or cut sheet metal. This position requires of machine operation, quality control, and adherence to safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC-controlled turret punch presses to perform punching, notching, and shaping of metal sheets Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to ensure compliance Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions Communicate with team members and leadership to maintain efficient workflow and report any issues promptly Follow all company safety protocols, including the use of PPE and proper handling or materials Qualifications: At least 1 year of prior experience Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with common tools and equipment used in assembly and fabrication Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and ability to follow verbal and written instructions Must be able to stand, bend, crouch, and lift materials for extended periods
