If you’re ready for a challenge supported by a culture of safety, stability growth and a positive work environment, we invite you to begin your journey with us.  Contact our team of in-house Recruiters: 1-866-8-TRIMAC  Pay Details: Up to $28/hr (depending on experience) Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMMonday-Friday  Responsibilities: Assist with preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers while utilizing personal safety equipment as required.Move trucks in and out of the shop for maintenanceOpen repair orders and charge the appropriate parts to the repair orderPerform tire inspections/appropriate paperwork to company standardsPerforms shop clean-up and housekeeping responsibilities as well as other miscellaneous related duties as assigned.Inspects and maintains basic vehicle/accessorial worthiness including proper fuel levels and tire air pressure, fluid levels, brakes, lights, and safety equipment, and submits reports indicating the condition of equipment.Possesses and demonstrates the ability to perform assigned tasks in a manner that adheres to the company's Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security policies. Qualifications: Must have a valid driver’s license1 year of experience Ability to provide own basic hand toolsBasic computer skillsAbility to read and comprehend service manualsKnowledge of tools and equipment used in the shop to repair and maintain company equipmentA basic knowledge of tractor and trailer maintenanceKnowledge of D.O.T. regulations and out-of-service parameters for tractors, trailers, and accessorial equipment.
