Senior Area General Manager - Healthcare

Role Overview: Take your career to the next level with Sodexo at our flagship healthcare account! Sodexo is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Area General Manager- Healthcare to lead our food service operations for Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, a 1,227-bed acute care facility in Allentown, PA. This is our largest healthcare foodservice site in the region, and it requires a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.  Must have high level food management experience in healthcare-patient services is the biggest piece to the puzzle at this location!    What You'll Do: Lead all foodservice operations across patient dining, retail, and high-volume catering.Manage and mentor 3 General Manager 5s and their teams in delivering operational excellence and a top-tier patient experience (700+ trays per meal).Collaborate frequently with hospital leadership and stakeholders.Drive financial performance, quality standards, and Sodexo program compliance.Foster a team culture built on excellence, accountability, and collaboration. What You Bring: 5+ years of senior-level foodservice management, specifically in healthcare (this is a must).Experience leading large teams in complex, multi-unit environments.Strong financial acumen with a track record of success in P&L or fee-based settings.High energy, hands-on leadership style – this role requires daily onsite presence.Familiarity with Sodexo systems is a plus, but not required.Comfortable working in a high-pressure, high-expectation environment.
