TRC Talent is Hiring a Maintenance Mechanical Technician in White, GA Job Summary:Utility Maintenance Mechanical Technician is responsible for mechanical Maintenanceservice and repair in the areas of Utility Facility Dept. Job Details: 12-hour shift, 6AM-6:30PM or 6PM-6:30AM$25/hr(base pay), $1/hr for shift differential Job Responsibilities: Process water system (UPW, PCW, CHW, CW), CDA, Exhaust blowers, HVAC, Gas/Chemical supply system, WWT including all pumps, valves, fittings, and piping etc.Responsible for all plumbing, piping and mechanical parts installations, changes, upgrades, and repairs. (CCR monitoring / PCW / CT / CH / CDA / HVAC / FF / GCS / N2 / AR Rec. / WWT, WTP, REC, ETC)Ensure that all preventative maintenance on Facilities equipment is performed according to the established schedule and SOP (Standard Operation Procedure).Maintain equipment records. Help formulate maintenance plans including SOP's & LOTO for seamless facility operations.Able to perform routine preventative maintenance tasksThe upkeep, repair, and preventative maintenance of the facility's equipment and infrastructure.Completing work order assignments, meeting work deadlines.Conducting preventive maintenance on site and performing routine tasks to maintain equipEnsure cleanliness of machine and machine components by making use of hose, air guns, IPA, cloths, vacuum, and other appliancesDisassemble machines and take off parts for replacement or repair by using chain falls, hand tools and jacksExamine or carry out tasks on broken machine parts and identify defective parts or give recommendations to supervisors on repair requirementsReplace, fix, or realign machine parts and accessoriesApplication of adhesives, lubricants, or other materials to machines or their parts as well as other equipment in accordance with stated proceduresPut machine parts together after accomplishing maintenance and repair workTake off hardened material from machines or machine parts by utilizing power and hand tools, jacks and sledgehammer, abrasive, and other appliancesAdhere to the policies and procedures Requirements: +2 years of cognitive and vocational experience in handling machine and machine partsStrong knowledge of the mechanical maintenance processCritical thinking ability to troubleshoot and detect malfunctioningDiscipline to execute tasks without procrastinationExcellent time management skills and execute all orders and/or demands in a timely mannerAbility to handle basic toolsAbility to lift 50 pounds repetitively and without assistanceStrong knowledge of safety precautionsAbility to illustrate general maintenance requisite and simple procedures for operation on various pumps including reciprocating, centrifugal, vane, and etc.Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in areas that are not climate-controlledAssertive, able to cope with pressure, a team player Preferred Qualifications: Experience/Training in mechanical maintenance or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing industry.Proven experience in a team of technicians.Basic knowledge of Plumbing codes and building codes.Proficient in mechanical systems and utilities within a manufacturing industryRelevant certifications are preferred and will be considered a plus **Please call (470) 523-0729 after you have applied** TRC Talent Solutions is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
