Join us and be a part of a team that puts people first! EMR is currently seeking a Landscaping Lead to join our team and play a vital role in the beautification and maintenance of EMR’s properties. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with solid landscaping and maintenance experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and high standards. This position involves both performing and supervising landscaping and ground keeping duties, including lawn care, tree maintenance, and equipment oversight. While a background in the scrap metal industry is a plus, it is not required.     Key Responsibilities:  Maintain and enhance the appearance of EMR properties across Camden, NJ, Philadelphia, PA, and Delaware locations.  Perform and supervise lawn care, planting, trimming, mulching, debris cleanup, and related landscaping duties.  Identify common landscape plants and ensure proper care.  Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment.  Support general facility upkeep and minor repairs.  Oversee landscaping staff, including scheduling, task delegation, and training.  Ensure all equipment and maintenance vehicles are functioning properly.  Enforce company safety policies and procedures.  Lead weekly safety meetings.  Report major issues directly to the Building Manager.  Perform additional duties as assigned.     Qualifications:  High school diploma or GED preferred.  Minimum 5 years of landscaping/maintenance experience.  Prior leadership or management experience required.  Strong knowledge of landscaping equipment and maintenance techniques.  Valid driver’s license.  Ability to work independently and collaboratively.  Experience with Bobcats (Skid Steer) and snow plow trucks preferred.     Other Requirements:  Comfortable working outdoors year-round in various weather conditions.  Must be able to stand for long periods and lift/carry light materials.  Ability to shift priorities and manage multiple assignments effectively.  If you are a hardworking, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and attractive outdoor spaces, we encourage you to apply and grow with us.  Willingness to travel to multiple EMR locations using company vehicles with staff passengers.    Pay range $20 – 25/hr  EMR USA Metal Recycling provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. *E-Verify is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
