Surg Tech-Clinical Educator, CVOR

Description:RESPONSIBLE FOR: Serves as clinical expert providing education, research, coaching, direct care, consultation, leadership collaboration and ethical decision making for patients and surgical services staff. Serves as a change agent and promotes quality through the utilization of clinical expertise. Provides clinical care as needed when staffing and/or case load demands. Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leader(s) as needed. Qualifications:MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of a Surgical Technology ProgramMINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Two (2) years of Operating Room Surgical Tech experience.MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Certification as a Surgical Technologist Required BLS certification required.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:BLS certification required. Demonstrated clinical competency.
