About the role We are seeking an experienced Infra. Architect with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Tivoli Workload Scheduler and will work from our office during day shifts. This role involves designing and implementing infrastructure solutions to enhance our operational efficiency and support our business objectives. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our IT systems. In this role, you will: •Ability to schedule and develop new jobs using IWA scheduler tool •Automate and provide a permanent fix through scheduling to avoid any manual work around. •Ability to understand the Client/Application’s perspective as well as explain the developer’s view if any. •Implement the requirements changes raised by the application teams or the client in a productive manner. •Expected to work along with various application Owners and their teams. •Need to schedule the jobs in IWA development region and keep a track of its implementation. •To be a part of any planned migration or maintenance activities if need arises. •Co-ordinate with testing teams to debug the defects in Development instances. •Expected to provide additional support to any new project activities included as a part of our road map in near future. •Expected to work with IBM support persons in case of any blockage or bug found in the latest IWA version. •Co-ordinate with the client/application teams to complete all the project-related activities to meet the deadline. •Ability to handle the incidents raised regarding IWA and provide a resolution within the breach period. •Assist Monitoring team with their queries and in certain complex situations. •Be vigilant to respond to the mails and calls from the members of same or related projects. •Interact with operations, functional, technical and various technology teams on a regular basis •Frequent tracking, review and reporting on ticket progress and adherence to CPIs and KPIs •Work with various Technology teams to gather and review minor enhancement estimates •Provide traceable milestones ETAs to customers on tickets (build project plan when needed) •Reduce or minimize backlog of tickets (incidents, requests, tasks) •Review RCAs to ensure the outcome is meaningful, measurable and trackable for customers •Ensure RCA is completed on time and follow through on ETAs for implementation of action items to ensure permanent resolution is completed on time •Monitor progress on tickets and responsible for on time delivery to customer •Ensure security risks and SOX compliance adherence is maintained for applications in scope •Ability to guide the development team associates in case of any IWS technical issues/blockages in the POC’s. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations. · What you need to have to be considered High level IWA overview - Understanding of Version & their Functionalities Overview of the applications hosted in the servers TWS objects - jobs/jobs streams/dependencies/calendars/resources etc Batch Jobs - Types of Jobs/ Application related jobs Creation of job Scheduling of jobs Folder structure and Naming convention IWA Calendars Event Rule Configurations Service Catalogues Migrating jobs to higher environment - WAT and Composer commands Involved in the IWA Pre & Post Maintenance Activities by Monitoring Team. Incident and Service Request Management (incident / RITMs / Problem tickets) Escalation matrix and process - P1 & P2 troubleshooting & resolutions (coordinating with app teams for technical fixes) change management - updating the jobs in the prod (change tickets) IBM Cases - working with IBM support for any issues. This will help you stand out · Certified Tivoli Workload Scheduler Professional Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until July 15, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $114,000 to $133,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
