IT Asset Management Specialist

Description The Digital Modernization team within Leidos’ DISA IT is seeking an Asset Management Specialist to support all aspects of the software and hardware asset management within the CESO environment.With the CESO program, Defense Information System Agency (DISA) is looking to transform the existing Secure Web Services (SWS) environment, which provides secure information sharing to the community, into a more mature service offering to meet the DoD and intelligence communities.  As part of this task order, Leidos manages the commercial cloud migration and disestablishment of legacy systems, fully automate the continuous development & continuous integration environment, fourth estate consolidation, professionalize services – ITIL/DevSecOps based processes.This position is in Arlington, VA with occasional/situational travel.Primary Responsibilities:Develop asset control processes to monitor device identification, accountability identification, maintenance, location and associated contracts.Assist in inventory management, procurement and shipment activitiesContribute to and execute asset management policies, procedures and processes.Monitor software licenses to ensure they comply with license agreements and usage standardsEnsure audit compliance for IT software assetsProvide oversight, direction, and guidance to Software Asset Administrators in the daily administration of the asset management activitiesProvide KPI/Metric information and standardized reporting on a scheduled basis together with unscheduled reporting demanded by managementManaging the lifecycle of hardware and software assets from creation to retirement and disposalVerify software assets with license contracts, confirm hardware assets with actual inventory, and initiate corrective actions and tract them to resolutionSupport activities concerning license compliance auditsBasic Qualifications: Currently have a TS with SCI eligibility Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience related to IT Asset Management. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degreeHas experience accounting for the lifecycle of both classified and unclassified hardware and software assets.Strong knowledge of the asset lifecycle with proven ability and experience in executing strategic asset management processes successfullyExperience developing processes and documenting work instructionsAbility to analyze information and convert related activities into a comprehensive work planAbility to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsArticulate ideas and concepts clearly and professionallyCreating and maintaining records in an ITSMPreferred QualificationsExperience with Jira Service Management for record keeping and dashboard creationPrior experience with DISA and DISA’s support to mission partnersExperience or certification in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)TS/SCI PreferredOriginal Posting:July 15, 2025For U.S. Positions: While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $63,700.00 - $115,150.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
