Job ID NumberR5761Employment TypeFull timeWorksite FlexibilityOnsiteJob SummaryAs a Project Engineer, you will lead small capital projects (less than $5MM) within the North America operations business in our client's diverse Project Resource and Outage Support (PROS) Group and support strategic planning, turnaround planning, and turnaround execution.Job DescriptionWe are looking for an Project Engineer.  This position will be full-time and on-site in Gonzales, LA.A valid PMP is required.What You'll DoLead assigned capital projects (standalone projects and projects within plant outages) and manage all engineering, design, and construction resourcesDevelop estimates, funding documents, schedule, and ongoing forecasts for plant executed projects within SAPEnsure all projects receive adequate process hazard reviews and ORI’s and that all recommendations are completed in a timely mannerEnsure inherent process safety is adhered to on all project designsProvide field supervision / support during projects executionConduct Safety Kickoff Meeting with contractors and operations team prior to start of project executionLead daily morning safety / toolbox meetings with all craftsWhat You'll NeedRequired:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related fieldBasic understanding of operating plant environmentPMP certification10+ years of Project Engineer experienceWillingness to travel up to 20% of the timeAbility to learn new methods and techniquesCommunication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with people with positivity from all cultures and at all organizational levelsPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorThe pay range for this position is $70.00- $76.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
