Job Title: Sterile Processing TechnicianLocation: Boston, MassachusettsJob Type: ContractDuration: 13 WeeksShift: Variable shift Nights Local Pay -$34/hr on W2 Travel Pay -$1486 weekly GrossPosition Overview:Pride Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at one of our client's hospitals. This contract position is perfect for a skilled professional with experience in sterilization processes and medical equipment handling. The role involves ensuring all medical instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for use in patient care, in accordance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines.Key Responsibilities:Instrument Decontamination: Properly clean and decontaminate all medical instruments following established protocols and safety procedures.Sterilization: Operate sterilization equipment, ensuring proper use and maintenance, and monitor sterilization cycles.Inventory Management: Track inventory of sterile instruments, ensuring that supplies are stocked and available for use.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sterilization procedures, including cycle logs and equipment maintenance records.Compliance: Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements to maintain the highest level of cleanliness and safety.Qualifications:Licensure/Certification: Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST or CSPDT) is preferred.Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sterile processing or related field.Knowledge: Familiarity with medical equipment sterilization techniques and infection control procedures.Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to follow detailed instructions, and excellent organizational skills.Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 30 lbs).Benefits:Pride Global offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
