Network Administrator

Mantech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Administrator with a focus on Cisco Networks to join our team in Laurel, MD.You will be part of a mission-driven team delivering enterprise infrastructure capabilities to support a global workforce engaged in national defense operationsResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Maintain and upgrade network infrastructure, including routers and switchesUpdate and configure antivirus software and other tools to secure the networkApply Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) updates to switches and follow Software Test and Evaluation (STE) policiesDesign and plan Cisco NEXUS network infrastructure, including setup and ongoing maintenanceConfigure Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) for switch administrationUse network monitoring and management tools such as Solarwinds to oversee network performanceMust be willing to work a flexible schedule between 6:00am-6:00pm and may be assigned to an evening patching scheduleMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university with 12+ years of experience as a Network Administrator. 3 additional years of Network Administration experience with an associate’s degree OR 8 years of additional experience and a high school diploma might be substitutedDemonstrated experience downloading software and upgrading Cisco switches and firewallsStrong technical background in Cisco FirePower FirewallsIAT II certification (DoD 8140 required within 60 days of starting employment.  Acceptable certifications include CCNA-Security/CySA+/GICSP/GSEC/Security+ CE/CND/ or SSCP)Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with configuring, scripting, and managing Unix, RHEL and Windows operating systemsFamiliarity with ScanboyFamiliarity with JIRA ticketing systemFamiliarity with Enclave environmentsFamiliarity with SolarwindsFamiliarity using LatteART and XACTAClearance Requirements:Must have a current/active TS/SCI with PolygraphPhysical Requirements:The candidate must be able to move, carry, and deliver workstations from the office to the customer’s deskThe person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the timeMust communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, or virtual meetings, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
