Youí¢€™ll use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while actively involving patients and their families in decision-making. Your responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, documenting educational needs, and coordinating care across departments to ensure a seamless experience. Youí¢€™ll communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, participate in physician rounding, and utilize safety tools like SBAR to support patient handoffs. Staying current with certifications, policies, and evidence-based practices is essential, as is contributing to process improvement and professional development initiatives. Youí¢€™ll also delegate and guide support staff within their scope of practice, maintain accountability for clinical outcomes, and uphold Mercyí¢€™s mission, values, and service standards in every interaction.í‚ Qualifications:Education:í‚ Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Licensure:í‚ Current valid RN license (state-specific).Note: Home Infusion roles require a valid driverí¢€™s license.Certifications:í‚ CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).Skills:í‚ Strong clinical judgment, calm under pressure, excellent communication, and a team-first mindset.Technology:í‚ Basic computer skills or willingness to learn clinical systems.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in a clinic or gastroenterology settingAdditional certifications relevant to outpatient careWeí¢€™re bringing to life a healing ministry through compassionate care.At Mercy, our supportive community will be behind you every step of your day, especially the tough ones.
