In this role, you will apply operational risk expertise to help Enact anticipate, respond to, and recover from disruptions that could impact business performance, operational integrity, or long-term strategic goals. Reporting to the Director of Operational Risk Management, you will play a key role in advancing Enact’s enterprise resilience by leading business continuity and third-party risk programs, and by collaborating with cross-functional partners across Risk, IT Security, Procurement, Legal, and other key business functions.Success in this role requires a blend of critical thinking, business process fluency, risk analysis skills, and strong communication and relationship-building abilities. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in operational risk and resilience, demonstrates initiative, and takes ownership of delivering meaningful, forward-looking outcomes.LOCATIONEnact Headquarters, Raleigh, NC – Hybrid ScheduleYOUR RESPONSIBILITIESApply broad operational risk expertise across diverse domains, with targeted ownership of key areas such as operational resilience, third-party risk, and business continuity.Lead the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Program, strengthening operational resilience through proactive governance, risk monitoring, and supplier oversight. Third-party security assessments and due diligence are performed by first line partners; this role coordinates and integrates results into overall supplier risk management.Lead the evolution of the Business Continuity Program by establishing and/or enhancing foundational processes, including Business Impact Analysis (BIA) execution, continuity planning, coordinated testing with internal and external stakeholders, and actionable reporting to leadership.Lead efforts to strengthen enterprise resilience by driving readiness, coordination, and continuous improvement—enabling the organization to anticipate, withstand, and respond effectively to operational disruptions.Support the development and refinement of operational risk frameworks, methodologies, and tools to strengthen consistency and maturity of enterprise risk practices.Advance maturity across operational risk areas by driving automation, enhancing reporting capabilities, and incorporating predictive indicators and forward-looking insights.Prepare and deliver reporting and dashboards on operational risk exposures, program maturity, and mitigation efforts, tailored for executive, functional, and regulatory audiences.Partner with business leaders, internal stakeholders, and first line risk owners to support enterprise risk accountability, promote shared ownership of resilience activities, and advance risk culture through training and awareness efforts.YOUR QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 8 years of experience in operational risk, enterprise risk management, business continuity, third-party risk, or related roles.Experience applying risk management frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000, NIST, FFIEC) in a practical business context.Proven ability to work across business functions, build strong partnerships, and influence risk ownership and accountability.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to distill complex risk concepts for varied audiences, and experience presenting to senior leadership.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple deliverables.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience preparing executive-level reporting and dashboards.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAdvanced degree and/or relevant certifications such as CRISC, CRMP, CTPRP, CBCP, ISO 22301, or other credentials related to operational resilience, third-party risk management, or business continuity.Demonstrated experience developing or leading enterprise-wide programs like third-party risk management, crisis management, and/or business continuityExperience with Business Continuity Management (BCM) software, Business Impact Analysis (BIA) tools, or other resilience technologyExperience with third-party risk platforms or continuous monitoring tools (e.g., OneTrust, Archer, Black Kite, Bitsight, Supply Wisdom) is a plus.Familiarity with crisis management or incident response coordination, including roles in tabletop exercises or live disruption scenarios.Working knowledge of IT and cybersecurity risk concepts to support effective third-party risk evaluation and cross-functional collaboration.COMPANYEnact Holdings, Inc.
