Mobile Maintenance Mechanic

What this job involves –  The Mobile Maintenance Mechanic supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. Assists in maintenance and repair efforts, as well as independently performing defined tasks. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, etc. What is your day to day?Perform general maintenance tasks including lighting system upkeep, minor plumbing repairs, and interior maintenance (e.g., hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture)Assist operations team in building and facilities maintenance and repairsComplete special tasks such as painting, locksmith work, and tenant service requestsMove office furniture, equipment and supplies as neededConduct facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on conditions affecting client occupancy and operationsComply with safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping, and identify/address safety hazardsAdhere to relevant ordinances, codes, and laws, including proper handling of hazardous materialsParticipate in ongoing training programs and maintain a clean, safe work environmentDocument work performance and materials procurement as directedPerform other operational tasks typical of the Maintenance Mechanic roleRespond to after-hours emergencies (on-call requirement)Note: This role requires the ability to lift 80 lbs, use ladders up to 30 ft, possess mechanical and electrical aptitude, and have excellent communication skills in English.Desired experience and technical skills   Required  3+ years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.  Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.   Preferred  Completion of an applicable technical training program EPA Universal
