Description The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a Capability Demonstration & Engagement Director at our Leidos Headquarters in Reston, VA.POSITION SUMMARY:We are seeking a strategic, dynamic, and customer-focused Director, Capability Demonstration & Engagement to lead the operations and growth of our state-of-the-art demonstration center. This individual will be responsible for curating immersive, high-impact customer experiences that showcase our products, solutions, and innovations. The Director will oversee daily operations, manage cross-functional coordination, drive strategic engagement initiatives, and ensure each visitor interaction reinforces our brand and value proposition.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:No initial clearance is required to start; however you must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. (US Citizenship required)PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:(1) Strategic LeadershipExecute the vision, roadmap, and KPIs for the demonstration center.Partner with senior leadership to align the center’s activities with business goals and customer engagement strategies.Lead and inspire a team of demonstration specialists, technical experts, and support staff.(2) Customer Experience & EngagementDesign and deliver compelling customer journeys tailored to specific industries, personas, and business needs.Work with growth and technical teams to develop customized demos and immersive experiences.Act as host and executive presence for high-value client visits and events.(3) Operations & Facility ManagementOversee day-to-day operations, technology, scheduling, and logistics of the center.Ensure the environment is maintained to the highest standards, including digital, physical, and hybrid formats.Manage vendor relationships and coordinate facility upgrades and content refreshes.(4) Content & StorytellingCollaborate with Leidos Comms/Marketing, Office of Technology, and Practice teams to build narratives and demos that bring our solutions to life.Ensure the center consistently showcases the most up-to-date innovations and proof points.Own the demonstration asset library and digital extensions (e.g., virtual tours, XR).(5) Performance ManagementMonitor and report on usage metrics, customer feedback, and ROI of center visits.Continuously improve processes, technologies, and engagement models.Manage budgets, and quarterly business reviews.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:•Master's degree (Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or related field) and 15+ years of prior work history; additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.•8+ years of experience in customer-facing roles such as sales engineering, product marketing, experience design, or customer experience.•3+ years in a leadership or program management capacity.•Proven experience developing and delivering impactful customer engagement strategies.•Strong understanding of Leidos Win Plan, Sales Plays, storytelling, and solution selling.•Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and leadership skills.•Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and innovation-driven environment.PREFERRED SKILLS•Familiarity with immersive technologies (AR/VR/XR), interactive media, or showroom tech.•Experience running executive briefing centers, demo labs, or innovation hubs.•Ability to work with C-level executives and global stakeholders.#practicearea Come break things (in a good way).
