Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal operation and safety. This is an entry-level position and can provide opportunities for growth in the engineering field. You will work as part of an engineering team servicing our clients headquarters in Class A office buildings across multiple locations including Round Rock and Austin. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 12pm-9pm or 3pm-11pm. On-call rotation expectation.Location: North Austin / Round Rock, TXReports to: Sr. Facilities ManagerWHAT YOU’LL DOPerform scheduled preventative maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipmentRespond to and resolve maintenance requests and emergency situations in a timely mannerTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning systems and equipmentConduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential issuesMaintain accurate maintenance logs and records of completed workEnsure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company proceduresManage inventory of parts, supplies, and equipmentCoordinate with outside vendors and contractors when necessaryMaintain a clean and safe work environmentWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLEHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred2+ years of experience in facility maintenance or related fieldWorking knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systemsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematicsProficiency with hand and power toolsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamValid driver's licenseAvailability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as neededPhysical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, climbing)EPA certification for handling refrigerantsElectrical or HVAC licensingBuilding maintenance certificationPlease submit your application with an updated resume, location, and contact information.If you're a current JLL employee, please apply using the Internal Career Site.Have a Referral for this role?
