Take the initiative to explore your potential and embark on an exciting career journey with Johnson Controls.What will you doYou will be responsible for selling video and access solutions (emphasis on video) through channel partners, rep firms and distributors for the Southeast region.  You will drive business throughout the territory by developing and maintaining relationships with partners and end users. You will have some discretion to operate within some flexibility on pricing and margins on competitive projects, etc. This individual will generally have standard to high sales targets or quotas, operating independently on those goals with access to all company support mechanisms and resources. How you will do itAssign yearly targets/quotas for channel partnersDevelop KPIs for partnersDevelop strategies with partners for growthMaintain annual quota/forecastsProvide product updates, product overviews and demonstrations to key stakeholdersWork within the territory to identify new opportunities / partnersWork with partners on channel planning and business strategies to develop market shareWhat we look forRequired5 years of sales experience5 years’ experience managing a successful territory with a proven record of successTravel 50%+ within OR, WA, PNWSound knowledge of the security industryChannel Selling ExperienceMarketing experienceExperience conducting customer presentations and demonstrationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSalesforce knowledgePreferredSales experience in the security industryBachelor’s DegreeSalesforce knowledgeSalary Range:WA HIRING SALARY RANGE: $76,600 -115,100(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account secured volume, secured margin, and other sales metrics.  This position includes a competitive benefits package.
