Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, NICU (30 hrs)

Position Summary/ Department Summary:Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, NICUKey Responsibilities:Managing the care of critically ill infants up to 6 months post-conceptual age, as part of a multidisciplinary team, on a 30-bed Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Providing medical and surgical NICU care including but not limited to: airway and cardio-respiratory management, pain and sedation management, enteral and parenteral nutritional support, gastrointestinal disease management, congenital/genetic anomaly evaluationsSchedule is 30 hours per week (12-hour shifts), 50% rotation days and nights, weekend and holiday rotation requirements. Minimum QualificationsEducation:Masters of Science in Nursing or Masters in Physician Assistant Studies Experience:Must have at least 1 year experience in a Level III NICU or in a pediatric critical care setting. Will also consider a new graduate NP, PA, acute care PNP with NICU experience.
