The Sales Manager will lead and develop the On-Premise (ONP) Sales team while driving the growth of our market share, sales volume and profitability, and distribution of the Beechwood portfolio in the assigned territory while managing budget performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintaining effective customer and supplier relations as well as promoting the goodwill of the company throughout the trade area. Support the GM/Director of Sales in preparing, analyzing and managing the sales department budget including sales volume forecasts, operating expenses, gross profit, payroll and wage related expenses and capital expenditures. Expand the ONP account base within the designated territory Manage supplier relationships as required Work effectively with other departments to ensure a maximum level of customer service and a smooth workflow. Coordination of all monthly sales objectives as related to the overall market strategy and annual business plan. Lead and direct all ABT ONP Sales Representatives to ensure the greatest possible sales and distribution of product. Supervise and direct the activities of the ABT ONP sales force and facilitate high employee morale and motivation. Implement and execute the marketing strategies of our company. Champion the continued learning and development of the sales team as well as responsible for the recruitment, selection, discipline, reviews and training of sales force. Organize the ONP sales department structure including assigning accounts, territories and product lines. Ensure all retail customers and suppliers adhere to the company’s credit and AR policy. Management of inventory, including assistance in projecting sales and in ordering products Maintain awareness of industry and respond to new developments. Compliance with all federal and state liquor authority laws. Other duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field Strong knowledge of the Beechwood portfolio and industry trends Prior experience in the beverage or alcohol distribution industry required Proven leadership, communication, and managerial skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Understanding of legal regulations related to the sale and delivery of alcoholic beverages Why Join Us?
