This position requires a dynamic individual to analyze business needs, organize around opportunities, and ensure new initiatives are effectively launched and executed. This position will be a full-time contract and onsite in Philadelphia, PA. What You'll Do:Develop, clarify, and manage the scope of projects, define contract deliverables, and achieve targeted outcomesEnsure project requirements are met within budget and timely fashionAssemble project teams, identify resources, assign responsibilities, and develop timelines for project completionDetermine project costs and ensure delivery within budgetary guidelinesEnsure compatibility with existing architectural and enterprise standardsPerform cost/benefit analyses of actions and initiativesSchedule meetings and document meeting minutesFollow OIT Project Management practices and prescribed SDLCPrepare status reports, summaries, and dashboards for presentation to mid and senior managementProvide support, coaching, and mentoring on project management best practicesWhat You'll Need:Leadership qualities such as conflict/issue resolution and the ability to manage projects successfullyEffective communication skills with stakeholders and senior business leadershipAbility to organize and work effectively with project teams from various departmentsExperience in designing and building distributed and enterprise solutionsAbility to plan, organize, and direct the work of consultants and systems analysis personnelPresentation skills, strategic thinking, and high professional ethicsProficiency in project management principles, systems delivery lifecycle, and budgetingUnderstanding of IT concepts such as servers, storage, mainframes, ITIL, metrics, and performance managementKnowledge of IT project management best practices and techniques (PMBOK)Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field3-5 years of Project Management experience managing large, cross-functional teams or projects4-6 years of applicable business experiencePMP certification or Master’s Certificate in Project ManagementPhysical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor The pay range for this position is $70 - $85 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access.
