Job Description

Position Overview The Systems Coordinator supports office and plant employees by providing technical assistance, training on new technologies, and resolving system issues. They manage user accounts, set up devices, and collaborate with the IT team to implement solutions that improve business efficiency, following standards set by the IT Coordinator. Responsibilities Provide support involving IT hardware and software Provide technical support and/or training for systems and networks Act as a link between end users and higher-level support Set up of new computer equipment Install and configure software and hardware (printers, network cards, etc.) Monitor system and network for optimal performance Perform troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of IT equipment Maintain IT asset inventory Ensure security is implemented on all computers and user levels Collaborate with other IT professionals to maintain standards and functionality Maintain security standards Act as a link between end users and corporate support Collaborate with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology preferred, or an Associate's degree in Information Technology with equivalent experience will be considered. Experience: 0-3 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in IT help desk support in a manufacturing/office setting preferred. Computer Skills: Strong understanding of PC workstations and Windows OS. Experience with Microsoft 365 including SharePoint is a plus.  Certificates: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ is desirable Knowledge of IT systems and applications such as: Thin Client Technology Forklift Terminals Window and Linux Servers KiwiPlan Mobile Phone Technology Knowledge of network switching technology Understanding TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration VLANS Compensation & Benefits In addition to a competitive wage, the selected candidate will enjoy a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, wellness programs, STD, LTD, life insurance, company matching 401(k) and pension.
