Join us and be a part of a team that puts people first! Maintenance Coordinator   Are you an experienced Maintenance Coordinator looking for a hands-on role where your skills make an impact? EMR, a global leader in metal recycling, is hiring a Maintenance Coordinator to join our Baton Rouge, LA depot!   What You’ll Do: Receive, prioritize, assign, and close maintenance work orders. Schedule preventive maintenance tasks and inspections according to the maintenance plan. Maintain accurate records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Track equipment history, maintenance schedules, and parts usage. Generate reports for downtime, maintenance KPIs, and backlog. Act as a communication hub between technicians, supervisors, and other departments. Coordinate contractor services and monitor on-site vendor activities. Support planning of shutdowns, turnarounds, or major repairs. Assist in monitoring spare parts inventory and coordinating with the storeroom. Requisition tools, materials, and replacement parts as needed. Ensure critical spares are available to reduce unplanned downtime. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Keep accurate documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements.   What We’re Looking For: Ability to work in a fast paced environment Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and ability to multitask Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Creative problem solving skills, and the ability to resolve issues and provide solutions Experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environment. Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance practices. Familiarity with OSHA, GMP, or ISO standards.
