HVAC Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in commercial buildings.Key Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and equipmentPerform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systemsDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of HVAC systemsRead and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specificationsEnsure compliance with all relevant building codes and safety regulationsRespond to emergency calls and provide timely solutionsMaintain accurate records of work performed and parts usedCommunicate effectively with clients and team membersStay updated on the latest HVAC technologies and best practicesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or associate's degree in HVAC technology preferredValid HVAC license and e.g., EPA Section 608 Universal Certification3+ years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repairStrong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heat pumps, boilers, and refrigeration unitsProficiency in using various hand and power toolsAbility to read and understand technical documents and schematicsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and customer service skillsValid driver's license and clean driving recordAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spacesWork Environment:Full-time position with occasional overtime and on-call dutiesWork in various settings including residential homes, commercial buildings, and industrial facilitiesMay involve working in extreme temperatures and weather conditions#PMR1
