What You"ll DoAs a Truck-Based Journeymen HVAC Mechanic, you"ll be the trusted expert delivering top-tier service to our commercial clients. What You"ll DoAs a Union HVAC Mechanic, you"ll be a key player in delivering high-performance service and solutions to our commercial and industrial clients. Your responsibilities will include:Troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing HVAC systems in commercial, petrochemical, and data center environmentsWorking on rooftop units, chillers, boilers, compressors, pumps, fans, towers, and plumbing systemsPerforming shaft alignment using dial indicators and laser toolsUsing vibration analysis equipment to diagnose driveline issuesInstalling complete HVAC systems including chillers, rooftop units, and supporting mechanical infrastructureRepairing centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers, and ammonia/hydrocarbon systemsProviding quotes and recommendations to customers and participating in our Service Plus Rewards programCommunicating clearly with customers about problems, causes, and corrective actionsSupporting and mentoring apprentices and servicemen on the jobTraveling 10–20% to support customer needs across the region✠What We"re Looking ForTo succeed in this role, you"ll need:Membership (or willingness to join) the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the U.S. and Canada, AFL-CIOMinimum 8 years of commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experienceCertification in ammonia and hydrocarbon safety trainingUniversal EPA refrigerants license and applicable state/local licensesValid driver"s licenseStrong interpersonal, digital, and written communication skillsA self-starter mindset with a passion for learning and growthCommitment to safety in every aspect of the jobWillingness to complete a knowledge exam and participate in ongoing training programs?
