If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in precision and quality, this could be the perfect role for you.Pay: Receive starting pay of $23.50/ hr, quarterly bonuses, profit sharing, and a $2,000 hiring bonus after 90 daysSchedule: This is a rare DAY shift opening! On our 5225 work schedule, you would work a 12-hour shift. 5 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 5 days off!Benefits: Access great benefits like medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match and paid time off.Growth: Advance with on-the-job training, apprenticeships, and tuition reimbursementSafety: Work in an environment committed to safety and improvementStability: Join an established Midwest company with four generations of family ownershipWhat You’ll Do:Work closely with steel billets as they come off the production lineTag and label each billet accuratelyInspect billets for imperfections and ensure top-tier qualityLearn to operate overhead cranes through on-the-job trainingSafely transport billets into storage using crane systemWhat You'll Need: A high school diploma or GED (we can help through our free GEDWorks program)Comfortable with basic math (like counting and simple calculations).Can communicate clearly with team members.A team player who works well with others.Can follow directions and also help guide others when needed.Good at solving simple problems on the job.Forklift experience is a plus!Nice to haves: Overhead crane operation experienceBackground in manufacturing or industrial productionSolid understanding of workplace safetyApply Today!
