Mechanic- Union

Overview: Full-time union position will inspect, maintain, troubleshot, repair and refurbush amusement rides and their subsystems. The individual will ensure all rids and equipment comply with all operating standards and requirements. Responsibilities: Perform visual inspections of assigned rides and attractionsMaintain, erect, repair and trouble-shoot various theme park rides and attractionsVisually insepct machines and equipmentRemove and or replace equipment parts using hand and or power toolsperform routing preventative maintenance on various equipment including rides and attractionsKeep a daily log of maintenance work performed as well as accurate records of preventative maintenanceAssist with other duties/dpartments as assignedAdhere to all department and company safety policies; wear appropriate safety equipment as requiredSuppor the company Mantra of providing Friendly, Clean, Fast and Safe Service to our Guests Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalentPneumatics troubleshooting and repairs working with schematicMechanical repairs following ASTM ride standardsWelding 6G certifiedMachining wxperience working from drawings using lathe and milling machineMust be able to trouble-shoot cearly, calmly safety and emergency equipment, including respitators and safety harnessesMust have hand tools to perform required duties and tasks as assigned
